Dating to the 1990s, this Ulysse Nardin Split-Seconds Chronograph is a rare example of the manufacture’s complicated watchmaking from the period. Housed in a yellow-gold case, the watch combines a classical chronograph layout with the technically impressive split-seconds complication, allowing two simultaneous events to be independently timed. Its traditional proportions and understated design make it a particularly distinctive example of 1990s Ulysse Nardin.
Introduced in 1984, the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Day-Date Moon Phase 25594BA is affectionately known by collectors as “The Owl,” a nickname inspired by its distinctive day and date subdials. Crafted entirely in yellow gold, the 36mm case retains the unmistakable octagonal bezel and integrated bracelet of the Royal Oak, while a moon-phase display at 6 o’clock completes its balanced dial. Remaining in the collection for over two decades, the 25594 holds the distinction of being the longest-running Royal Oak model of its time.
Introduced in 2015, the Patek Philippe 5370P-001 represents the manufacture’s longstanding expertise in complicated chronograph watchmaking. Housed in a 41mm platinum case, the watch features a striking black Grand Feu enamel dial with applied Breguet numerals and a classical two-register layout. Powered by the manually wound CHR 29-535 PS calibre, the 5370P-001 combines the technically demanding split-seconds complication with the timeless design and craftsmanship associated with Patek Philippe’s finest chronographs.
The Audemar Piguet Royal Oak 4100BA represents an important chapter in the evolution of the Royal Oak collection. Crafted in 18k yellow gold, the watch retains the defining elements of Gerald Genta’s iconic design, including the octagonal bezel, integrated bracelet, and Petite Tapisserie dial, while offering a versatile mid-size case. Combining precious metal construction with the unmistakable Royal Oak aesthetic, the 4100BA remains a distinctive reference from the collection’s early years.
