The watch is in 8.8/10 in great condition where it maintains its original shape and design. The watch is believed to be unpolished with the case in its original form. There are normal swirl marks and scratches across the caseback and some areas on the case, but overall in great condition. The watch comes with the original Blancpain buckle and alligator strap

As one of the oldest watchmakers, Blancpain might not have been of the the most mentioned names in recent times, but their quality in their products still excels. The brands transition in the 1980s under the ownership and management of the legendary Jean-Claude Biver saw the brand resurrected, with more focus on creating in-house pieces and the Classique collection was also brought back and rebranded as the Villeret collection.
This peice we have here typifies what many wathcmakers were trying to do to differentiate their watches from quartz models. The beautifully crafted Mother of pearl dial with the date sub-dial at 6 o’clock is simple yet has just enough complexity with the mother of pearl texture and colours. behind the excellent dial design, the watch is designed with an opne caseback to showcase the in-house 4795 automatic movement that powers the watch.
