Condition:
Watch is in near mint condition 9.9/10 with minimal usage and swirl mark and no dents. The watch was rarely worn and original strap is in near mint condition as well. The original paper wrap have wear but is in great condition and all interior box and accessories is in excellent condition.
Our Thoughts:
You might have seen similar monopusher models from Habring²’s collaboration with Shellman (a retailer from Tokyo), but this particular piece is unlike the other limited editions made previously and is specially made in a slightly larger case design at 38.5mm compared to some other models at 36mm. The slightly larger size does not feel bulky and although it may seem a bit large for a retro look, the 38.5mm is perfect for most wrists and gives it a slightly more modern look.
If we dive deeper, the previous models produced by Habring² were powered by a modified Valijoux 7750 movement offering great precision and reliability, this particular piece have been upgraded to their A11C movement which is a complete overhaul of the older movements due to the uncertainties surrounding ETA. The movement is mechanically and aesthetically similar to the 7750 but its been heavily modified to improve technical abilities and to create longevity for the brand’s production further down the line. The watch offers plenty when you are trying to look at something rare and reliable in the independent watchmaking stratosphere.
