The watch is in 9.9/10 near brand new condition with a few factory stickers still attached. Watch was worn a handful of times by original owner and has been adjusted but all links are included. There are no scratches or dents on the watch and comes will full set and all accessories.
Our Thoughts:
The special dial configuration on a 40mm Day-date is definitely a heavy hitter. In our opinion the 18k white gold version of the meteorite dial finely balanced the aesthetics of the watch and in when the sun hits the dial and the case at the right angle, the watch beams and glitters.
With a finite amount of meteorite left at Rolex, the company chose to discontinue some of the models with this dial configuration. at 40mm some would think the watch is a bit too heavy and bulky, but for us it serves a purpose and demonstrates the quality of raw materials Rolex are willing to use in their top tier products. This watch is definitely a future classic.
