Our Thoughts:
There is something charming about what Atelier Wen is doing with traditional Chinese design cues without making it look extremely tacky and over-designed. Despite what most would. assume with a “Made in China” product, from the details on the dial to the unique shape of the case, there is a blend of respect and innovation for what traditional watchmaking is about whilst bringing a new identity to what Chinese watchmaking can represent. The Atelier Wen Perception carries a lot on its shoulders, but it delivers a breath of fresh air, marking a new generation of watchmakers in Asia.
