Condition:
The watch is in fantastic 8.8/10 condition with normal signs of wear and the watch case carries a unique purple toned patina evenly across all areas giving it an unique look. The watch is in normal running order and the dial is in perfect condition, comes full set with slight damage to the outer box.
Our Thought:
At 36mm the watch is perhaps a bit on the smaller side for modern standards, but for us it is the perfect size for the simple and elegant dial design. Compared to the modern versions, the argente dial carries a creamier hue and the sizing of the fonts are perfectly balance.
The extended lugs, which is also an iconic A. Lange & Söhne design feature, makes the 36mm case fit nicely on wrist, the thinner profile also gives a vintage character for a watch from the 2000s. As a part of the the three core models when the brand first relaunched in 1994, the 1815 small seconds is simple yet a defining model, and will definitely be an extremely collectible item in years to come.
