Condition:
The watch is in near mint condition 9.8/10 condition with minimal signs of wear. The case is in immaculate condition where are are no obvious dents. The factory alligator strap is also in excellent condition showing little signs of wear. The watch was fully serviced in November of 2023 and is in good running order with all the accessories.
Our Thought:
Although measured at 42mm, the case and dial design is atypical of A. Lange & Söhne’s precision on proportions making it feel and look fantastic on wrist. There is a lot going on with the dial design, yet it is executed with perfection in having all the necessary information for the watch’s timezone functions without creating a mess. The city chapter ring and the name itself might suggest that the watch is a world-time watch, but the watch is in-fact a dual-time watch with the home timezones clear on the top left and the small away time on the bottom left.
All-in-all the watch keeps the fantastic readability and functionality of an A. Lange & Söhne watch, with the slightly bigger case, you can argue that it adds a bit of sportiness to the overall aesthetics without overdoing it.
