Jaeger-LeCoultre Odysseus 170.7.80 Perpetual Calendar
Along with most other brand, the 1980s saw the uprise in high-end complicated mechanical movement watchmaking after the Quartz crisis. Jaeger-LeCoultre was right in the forefront of creating excellent highly complicated timepieces. This JLC was their own interpretation of what the market needed at the time, discreetly luxurious but upon closer look you will see subtle details like the two toned yellow and rose gold bezel that makes this watch so unique.

Our Thoughts:
Jaeger-LeCoultre might be a little bit under the radar compared to its competitors in the genre of neo-vintage. But it is the exact reason why these are so under-valued for what it is given the reputation of the movements and watchmaking ability of the brand. Beautifully crafted lacquered dial and in-house movement (that even the gorgeous Audemars Piguet QP is based on), what’s not to like!
