Condition:
the watch is in good condition for a 1601 Datejust fitted with an original grey sunburst dial and watch case is fairly well maintained with slight polishing from the past. Dial is in fantastic condition where all lumes are present and non-damaged darkened to a warm yellow patina with hands slightly darker lumes. Watch is in normal working order.
Our Thoughts:
Not quite a “Ghost” dial but the grey sunburst dial is equally beautiful with white font and under some lighting the font almost look invisible. The tone on tone grey dial on stainless steel case is extremely versatile and durable. The oyster bracelet gives the watch a bit more of a sporty look but the fluted bezel balances it out making the watch still perfect for all occasions.
