The watch is in 8.5/10 condition retaining its thick original case shape and unpolished. The watch is in overall fantastic condition with sharp lugs and tight bracelet but there is a chip on the sapphire crystal near 10 o’clock position. The watch comes full set box and paper.
Our Thoughts:
the 16600 reference Sea-Dweller is a little overlooked at times due to the popularity of the first generation 1665 Sea-Dwellers and the general preference for matte dial vintage models, its robustness is often overlooked. Retaining the original 40mm case is something we find extremely attractive giving it enough wrist presence yet not too bulky like its successor Deep-sea models.
This watch is a no-fuss neo-vintage Rolex watch that is ever so reliable and is a good entry point for those who are getting into older Rolex models.
