Another Explorer II makes their way to our online shop. The “Polar” 16570 Explorer II is one of the best neo-vintage models in terms of the complexity of the movement and the unique white dial with black outlined lumes. Built with a sapphire crystal and solid lines, the watch is a good mix of vintage features whilst improving durability with certain modern features.

Exceptional 4.5/10 with minor swirl marks and minimal usage for a vintage Rolex piece. Watch comes with super collector’s full set with a beautifully patina-ed T25 tritium dial. All lumes still intact and undamaged in a yellowed hue. Case is extremely fat whilst maintaining the original bevels on lugs, extremely sharp case.
Our Thoughts:
Although we secretly favour more dress watches, this sporty Rolex isn’t one to sleep on. These neo-vintage pieces are massively under valued at the moment, whilst finding a collector’s full set is still not mission impossible. The watch itself is easy to wear and slightly more snug compared to its successors in 42mm.
